Beautiful People

Besides the obvious beauty
of the island there is something
i did not expect, the beauty of
the people who live there.
There kind nature draws you
to them, the you are astounded
at the wisdom, there happiness
at just being. They do not have
stress, they do what they can
and leave the rest. They are a
people of faith, family and
hard work, healthy because
they have gardens of vegetables
trees of fruit, organic meat.
Slow paced, never take the
beauty around them for granted
excitement in there manor as
they show off there culture.
I took away from this island
the promise to myself, slow
down, see the beauty, real
beauty!
