The Sounds Of Quiet

I sat out in a delightful
warm evening, taking
in the surroundings
the sound of water
trickling from the
fountains, the birds
not yet silent, the slight
breeze moving the leaves
on the trees. All is quiet
but that of nature. I covered
my ears to complete silence.
My sense of smell sharpened,
nature again present, i closed
my eyes and took in the smells.
It was then that i realized there
is quiet and dead silence. The
quiet is soothing sounds of
nature, by then the crickets
started there chatter, loudly
they rubbed there wings quite
happy with there tune. I on the
other hand felt they were invading
my quiet. As they continued
i let them in my quiet with all
the other nature and it came
together as peaceful quiet
