Memories

Memories are made of this.....
A song can trigger a memory
put a smile on your face
 dreams brings back things
you may have forgotten
 places you have been
before at an earlier time
a picture floods you mind
with happiness
seasons, spring, summer
and winter memories
so many memories taking
you to other places and times
as you drift off to sleep
a quick memory flashes
in the dark, but not
to be afraid, because
the lion sleeps tonight
