For a fleeting moment
a glance in the mirror
who is this person
the years have gone
so quickly, the old
lady said this would
be, she was just
rambling again
now as the mirror
reflects this image
you get it

Feelings

Although we want to be
ourselves, we often are not
We reject our own feelings
when they are unpleasant
or wrong and when we are
defensive.
Feelings only stay forever
if we suppress them then
stay in our unconscious.
If we allow ourselves to feel
them as they come up in the
moment they run their natural
cause then they will eventually
dissolve.

In Dreams

In dreams you can go
anywhere you desire
seek anything, anyone
I can go to my favorite
place where the forest
meets the sea, memories
can be brought back as
if they were yesterday
Ahhh yes only in dreams

I was heading off

door and went out
