Brain Games

Our brains buzzing with
activity, ions moving in
and out of neurons.
The most powerful organ
often may miss fire creating
a person to go awry. If fed
drugs, some foods, it sends
signals to other parts of the body
in dislike. Extremely controlling,
breathing, hunger, thoughts.
This organ rather small for all
content and complexity
not to be reckoned with.

Spring

Excitement grows as
Spring comes near
trees are budding
early this year
the humming birds
seek out there food
the rabbits and squirrels
getting ready to have
there brood
I wait anxiously to
plant the flowers and
vines, to feel the dirt
in these hands of mine
the warm days are
teasing me as it get
cold again i can see
the forecast of another
snow coming just
maybe.
Nature has no rules
so i wait for her to
to settle down so
I can get my planting
in the ground
