Visionary brain
Our eyes are only as good as our brain. Vision is our main source of sensory information. If you are blind, you brain depends on feel, touch, smell and hearing. A musician can still play, and actor can still act, a singer can still sing through the sensors the brain uses to compensate for loss of vision. One of the best examples of this is one of my favorites, the story of Esref Armagan, the artist with no eyes. It is one thing to have seen then have gone blind, but to never have seen and still be able to paint, even in dimension shows just how powerful our brain/mind can be. I feel that there is so much more to be learned about this complex organ, only the surface has been scratched.
