Nowhere

Sometimes you find yourself in
the middle of nowhere and
sometimes in the middle of
nowhere you find yourself,
not all who wander are lost

Looking at this scene made me think that it
represents the mind. Clutter and darkness
often hides the view of what waits beyond

Peaceful Way Of Life

In the middle of the Mojave Desert
a field of alfalfa grows despite the odds,
it has been that way for years. Lucerne
being the common European grass,
hence the name of the small town
Lucerne Valley. For many years the
town it's self has remained small, but
people looking for a larger piece of
land, a quiet lifestyle have built large
houses with acreage as not to be
close to there neighbors. The folks
take the trip into Apple Valley or
Victorville to do there shopping
and to work, giving up convenience
for a peaceful way of life.
