Cleaning Up

Like cleaning house, removing
dirt, dust and grime, the soul needs
cleaning as well. There are habits,
old bothersome debris and people
there that need to be removed.
Clutter of all sorts, that put you
out of sorts, negativity, worry
and mental worn down battery.
Like cleaning house it is time
consuming and hard work
but must be done in order
to have peace within your
soul

Sonder

The realization that each
random passerby is living
a life as vivid and complex
as your own populated with
there own ambitions, friends,
routines, worries and inherited
craziness and epic story that
continues invisibly around you
like an anthill sprawling deep
underground, with elaborate
passageways to thousands of
other lives that you'll never know
existed in which you might appear
only once,as an extra sipping
coffee in the background, as a blur
of traffic passing on the highway,
as a lighted window at dusk

No Accident

It is no accident that i was

brought to a church as a

young girl, met friends

that i often recall. It is

heartwarming to see some

of  the ones from that church 

that have become pastors,

deacons, and church members.

What was then still is.

I was not brought there

by accident, God doesn't

do anything by accident.

I wonder what has become

of others that i have not

come across or read 

about, do they to often

wonder,,,,,,,

In The Dark Of Night

A gasp of crescent moons
has a breath full of stars
drawn deep in the night
as the sun lay exhausted
under the blanket of skies
and it's cotton of clouds,
is a single breath of night
drawn deep from dusk till dawn
and in that blank of night
was a blink of passing sky
It is then that poets awake
resurrected too in the break
as the world pauses enough
for us to catch our own breath

Thoughts And Words

Change your thoughts
into words and the
words come flowing
out, a word is not
said without a thought,
your thoughts come
from inside where
your feelings are bred,
feelings come from
your soul, that inner
quiet space that is yours
to consult, it will always
guide you in the right
direction

Private Space

In you is a private space where
"no visitors allowed" this is
where you meet yourself in
total honesty, where your
willing to dream and desire,
it is where you find answers
to your questions.
