Passions

A passion develops slowly
defining you
your inner voice says
I can do this
passions like life do not
come with an instruction
book
If you say "someday",
someday is not at all
Failures are simply
stepping stones

Curiosity

We are born curious
curiosity leads to
knowledge I feel
curiosity is more
important, it leads
us down new paths
opens more doors
we try new things
therefor curiosity
leads us to knowledge
With the amount of
curiosity I have
I should be a genius!

Stellar Nursery

Seen in a composite picture released November 7, the star cluster Cygnus OB2—the closest massive stellar nursery to Earth—glows with the energy of hundreds of young stars. For the picture, NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory stared across some 5,000 light-years and captured 1,500 stars pumping out x-rays (shown in blue). The Spitzer Space Telescope offered infrared imagery (red), and the Earth-based Isaac Newton Telescope provided optical wavelength-views (orange). (See the same view in x-ray, infrared, or optical wavelengths.)

Fascinating, not even the most advanced in my youth could have thought this
would be possible! Takes my breath away......

A Walk In The rain

I walked in the rain, there was
no umbrella to protect me but
I wanted it this way. My head
was bent, yet I found I yearned
to see beyond my own footsteps
If you want to see more in life
you must have the courage to lift
up your face, even in the rain

Humans

Humans are the only creature on earth
who seem to base there value and their
happiness on an image they see in the
mirror. Humans also believe they are
the most intelligent life form on the planet
I wonder.........

Fiddling Around

We fiddle with the clocks twice a year
for an hours worth of daylight, when only
milkmen and roosters are awake to
appreciate it, and use it to push back
sunset until one hour later in the day,
this arrangement is claimed to cut
electricity usage and reduce traffic
accidents
Confusing this body we live in, animals
feeding time and our usual patterns of life
one hour, 60 minutes, 3,600 seconds
my mind wonders why nature is not to be
left alone

As The Wind Blows

Trees turning colors
shades of yellow orange
and red, as the wind blows
they fall to the ground,
nature is preparing for
a long winter nap
They will return in the
spring with a yawn,
bigger, stronger, after
the rest it has taken
