Regrets

Whats done is done
it can never be undone
regrets are like pebbles
thrown in a calm lake
the serene pool of water
causes ripples in every
 direction, disturbing
distand still waters, every act
creats a ripple with no logical
end.

Wondering

I have waited for so
long to see the first
nesting of the humming
birds. To my disappointment
there are no eggs. There
are more nests than usual
last years rebuilt, all have been
abandoned, some never finished.
The birds still feed as usual,
playing and fussing as usual.
No answers to my wondering
no predator that i can see,,,,
Nature keeps me wondering

Tree Of Life

We are but a leaf
That lives for a season
Upon the tree of life
But when we are cast free
Our time is short
But its our time to live

Drifting

I will drift with the wind
I shall float upon the sea
The currents of time will take me
To places as I dream
The sunset will be my blanket
As I lay down to sleep
The clouds the pillows to rest my head

I feel the Heat
I hear the Thunder
What will happen
when they clash,,,
