Minds like scrabble putting words together letter by letter learning new ones some by trying to see if they are Never pass to another for it is your turn deep in your mind it will come, not to hurry it's there somewhere after all your mind is scrambled like the tiles sorting out what you keep and what you dispose

As the rain softly falls i look into the fire burning brightly. As it does often my mind goes to other places. Musing of many things, i thought of my grandsons, not happy about going to another church since they have moved to far to attend the one most familiar with. My mind took me back to one of my favorite places. I think of "my" church, at the time taking for granted the years that brought such joy, the learning, the true meaning of "God". "We" were as one family in a sense. Those years made me who i am. As i stare at the fire the gratitude overwhelms me, for not many can ever be as fortunate as i was. These memories will always be with me. Life takes us in all different directions, but nothing can take your memories.
