Endless Curiosity

I don't think anyone is as curious as I am. Always asking, reading,,, you get so much knowledge from this curiosity, not being shy to ask, for me is a blessing. On a recent trip to Kauai, i have learned so much as well as having such a wonderful time. On an excursion on a zip line I asked so many questions about the island and the rain forest we were in, thinking i may wear the two guides out, but they were more than happy to answer my endless questions. The other six people just waiting to get on the lines, no interest in what was around them or the island. I found this somewhat amusing. My mind still reels from the beauty, cultures and new found knowledge, some things simple others quite astounding. Curiosity of people, places and things for me is a GOOD thing.

Sameness, Perfection, Enemy

Sameness, like the same a cascading light casting the same precise shadows on the same unblemished ground, that is taken for granted. Eventually, the sameness would become tedious. Perfection, true perfection already exists in every moment, never needs to be reformed or improved. A perfectionist not seeing it this way is forever striving to be better, nothing is good enough, criticizing yourself for not being better, not taking a compliment as truth. Sameness, perfection can become as an enemy, taking away your being.
